MUSIC AT THE MARKET Utterly urbane entertainment arrives at URbAN Marketplace this September.
Charlie Roth takes the stage from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
And, joining the urbane duo for her first St. Cloud book signing is Marie Porter, author of
The Spirited Baker cookbook. As a former mixologist and award-winning cake artist, Marie has tastefully combined her love for baking with luscious liquors yielding spectacular results. Learn how easy it is to create an impressive Mango Mojito Upside-Down Cake and more!
SPECIAL ACTIVITIES & DEMOS Catholic Charities will be conducting a food drive for the local Foodshelves at St. Cloud’s URbAN Marketplace for the rest of September. Demand at the food shelves is up due to the economic slowdown and Catholic Charities hopes to help in a big way over the next few weeks. People can bring their non-perishable food items, monetary donations or even purchase fresh produce at the Market to donate to the food shelf. In exchange for that donation, donors will receive “Honest Tea” (courtesy of Viking Coke) to enjoy at the market.
Catholic Charities’ Children’s Home will also be selling fresh produce at the Market.
